Quick answer

Standard Robots is a Shenzhen company that builds autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and the software that coordinates them, moving materials inside factories for electronics, automotive, semiconductor, new-energy and pharmaceutical manufacturers. China Innovation Visits arranges a company visit at its Shenzhen site for organized business, industry and institutional groups. The ideal group size is 10–20. Programs are priced for groups, and larger groups are usually more cost-effective. Individuals and smaller groups are welcome to inquire; their per-person rate is higher than the group rate. A typical programme lasts about three hours and covers the culture and milestones area, the core product showroom, live robot demonstrations and a technical discussion session. Access to any additional area depends on the host's approval, your dates and the final itinerary. Send us your group size, preferred dates and learning goals to check feasibility.

What Standard Robots does, and what it has achieved

Standard Robots was founded in Shenzhen in 2016 by a founding team of Harbin Institute of Technology graduates; Wang Yongkun is chairman and CEO. The company designs and sells industrial autonomous mobile robots, the controller and operating system that run them, and the fleet software that coordinates them across a factory floor. Its customers are manufacturers that need materials moved between lines, stores and workstations without laying down fixed conveyors.

Three layers matter when you visit:

Robots. Standard platforms carry payloads from 300 kg to 2,000 kg. Function models add the working end: Oasis backpack units that carry racks and totes, transfer units, forklift units and tugs. In 2025 the company introduced DARWIN, a wheeled embodied robot built for industrial tasks.

Software. RoboVerse brings together Robo-World, a simulation environment that rebuilds a factory digitally; Robo-Set, which defines and runs production tasks; and Robo-Team, which handles routing, task allocation and traffic management across a fleet.

Industry deployment. The company works mainly in 3C electronics, automotive, semiconductors, new energy and pharmaceuticals — plants where product mix changes often and lines are reconfigured frequently.

What it has achieved, with sources:

  • The company states it serves more than 400 customers worldwide (company website, checked October 2026).
  • It sold 1,932 robots in 2024 and 1,371 in the first nine months of 2025 (figures reported from its 2025 Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing).
  • It holds 150 granted patents (company website).
  • It was recognised as a national-level specialised "little giant" enterprise in 2023 and a Guangdong manufacturing single-champion enterprise in 2024 (company milestones page).
  • Customers named in public coverage include Xiaomi, NIO, Foxconn, BYD, OPPO, Huawei and ZTE. Xiaomi's Beijing assembly plant, described in public reporting as the first EV final-assembly line built entirely on laser-SLAM AMRs, runs more than 200 Oasis units. That line sits at a customer site and is not part of this Shenzhen visit.

That is what makes the visit worth arranging: the showroom is where those three layers sit next to each other, and the technical session is where your team can ask how they behave in a plant like yours.

What your delegation can see

Culture and milestones area. A guided walk through how the company presents its history, values and product timeline. Useful for groups studying how a hardware company builds an engineering organisation.

Core product showroom. Standard mobile bases, the Oasis series, transfer and forklift configurations, and the DARWIN robot. Expect controllers and the SROS operating system to be explained on real hardware, plus industry displays showing how fleets are laid out for electronics, automotive and semiconductor plants. Technical specialists normally walk with the group and take questions at each station.

Technical salon session. A 40-minute discussion, normally hosted by a business director or above and supported by technical specialists, on the topics your group selects in advance.

Live demonstrations. Robot runs in simulated aisle and cleanroom-style setups are part of the programme. Which scenarios you see depends on the host's schedule on the day, and your confirmed itinerary will list them.

Not part of this programme: the company's own production floor, customer factories and mass-production lines. We do not present a customer site or a production line as visitable.

Learning objectives

  • For operations and business teams: where does a fleet of AMRs pay back fastest in a plant that changes product mix every quarter, and where does it not?
  • For technical teams: what is actually required to integrate a fleet with an existing MES or WMS, and how is traffic managed when dozens of robots share the same aisles?
  • For electronics and semiconductor groups: how are positioning accuracy and contamination control handled when robots work in clean environments?
  • For MBA and institutional groups: how does a company selling both hardware and software keep a standardised product from turning into a custom project for every customer?

Sample visit programme

Segment Time What to expect
Arrival, sign-in and briefing 09:00 – 09:30 Group meets at the designated entrance, receives visitor badges and any protective items, and gets an outline of the route and learning points.
Culture and milestones area 09:30 – 09:50 Guided walk through the company's history, values and product timeline.
Core product showroom 09:50 – 10:50 Standard platforms, Oasis series, transfer and forklift configurations and DARWIN, with a specialist explaining controllers, the operating system and industry layouts.
Technical salon 10:50 – 11:30 Topic-led discussion and open Q&A on the questions your group submitted in advance.
Group photo and wrap-up 11:30 – 12:00 Closing photographs and handover of any materials the host releases to visitors.

This is a sample. The final programme depends on your group's objectives, host confirmation and the schedule on the day. Timings shift with traffic and group size.

How this page is verified

Company facts on this page were checked on 13 October 2026 against Standard Robots' own website and public reporting of its 2025 Hong Kong exchange filing; figures are attributed to those sources and are not restated as our own measurements. We have not published market rankings, accuracy figures or customer counts that we could not trace to a source. Photographs appear only with the host's permission. We do not claim past delegations or visitor feedback until a project has actually run and the client has agreed to be referenced.

Booking and cost

Send us your organisation, group size, preferred dates, city and what your team wants to learn. We check host availability and the access your brief needs, then come back with a proposed itinerary and a quote. Quotes are built per group and usually cover four things: host arrangement, technical speaker, interpreting and on-site coordination. We recommend applying at least 30 days ahead; some elements need longer. We do not publish a fixed price because scope, language and group size change the quote.

Questions before a Standard Robots visit

Can one or two people join? Yes, you can inquire. Our programmes are priced for groups and the ideal size is 10–20, so the per-person rate for a very small group is higher than the group rate. Tell us your numbers and we will tell you what is workable.

Does the visit include a production line? No. Neither the company's own production floor nor customer factories are open to visitors. The Shenzhen programme covers the culture area, the product showroom, live demonstrations and a technical session.

How far in advance should we book? At least 30 days. Host scheduling is confirmed case by case, and certain elements can need more notice.

Which languages are available? The visit is hosted in English. Interpreting for other languages can be arranged on site; tell us the language when you inquire.

How long does it take? About three hours: roughly two hours of guided viewing and a 40-minute technical discussion, plus arrival and wrap-up.

How is the price calculated? Per group, after we scope your brief. It usually covers host arrangement, technical speaker, interpreting and on-site coordination. We do not quote a figure before we know group size, dates, language and topics.

What do we need to provide? Organisation name, participant list, ID or passport details for site registration, preferred dates, group size and the questions you want answered. Company registration documents are sometimes requested by the host.

Can we take photos or record? Only where the host allows it. Expect restrictions in the showroom and around hardware, and recording is normally not permitted during the technical session. We will confirm the rule for your date before you arrive.

This page describes a visit we can arrange on request. Dates, rooms, speakers, demonstration content and access are confirmed with the host for each group; nothing here is a guaranteed inclusion until it appears in your confirmed itinerary.
